Recipe pasta sauce

True connoisseurs know that the main thing in pasta is sauce. And you don’t buy a pasta sauce at the store, but prepare it yourself. Italian cuisine boasts with a huge amount of pasta sauces. In addition to classic sauces there are infinitely many others. Not all of them have to do with Italian cuisine, but here are a couple of recipes that are easy to make and add that extra flavor to your dish.

Tomato sauce with herbs

Ingridients

300 g of chopped tomatoes
1 large onion
1 garlic
7-9 herbs (tarragon, thyme, marjoram)
100 ml of dry white wine
2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
1 teaspoon of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
3 tablespoons of olive oil “extra virgin”
salt and freshly ground black pepper

Recipe

– Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
– Use a deep saucepan with a thick bottom, heat the olive oil, add chopped onion and garlic.
– Wait until they soften, it takes about 7 minutes.
– Add tomatoes, wine, oyster sauce, sugar and lemon juice.
– Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, and stir occasionally.
– Add salt and pepper.
– Then finely chop the herbs. Put them in the sauce, wait for it to boil.
– Let the sauce cool off completely before serving (at least 1 hour).
